The bottom ash treatment plant manages the incoming material through a sequence of controlled operations that progressively improve its quality and stability. The ash stream is first conditioned to ensure a uniform flow, allowing the material to be handled efficiently throughout the entire process.
As the material moves through the plant, different separation steps gradually distinguish the valuable components from the non usable ones. This controlled progression allows the metallic fractions to be concentrated while the mineral portion is refined and stabilized, all within a fully integrated and reliable process layout.
At the end of the treatment, the plant is able to recover both ferrous and non ferrous metals, while the remaining mineral fraction is transformed into a certified product. This enables the material to be sent to cement plants instead of being landfilled, eliminating disposal costs and turning the ashes into a valuable resource.
