REDPOL is derived from FLUFF, which is normally a disposal cost.
By transforming it, it becomes a material that can be used as a carbon substitute in EAF furnaces.

The plant dedicated to car fluff treatment is organized into three integrated sections, each designed to progressively enhance the value of the incoming material. The first phase focuses on preparing the stream by removing fine fractions and heavy inert components through mechanical and air based separation systems, ensuring a stable and uniform flow for the following stages.

In the second section, a combination of advanced sorting technologies and controlled size reduction processes allows the metallic components contained in the car fluff to be isolated and concentrated. Through a sequence of physical and sensor separations, the material is gradually refined into a clean and homogeneous metal fraction.

The final phase is dedicated to densification and product finishing. The material undergoes thermal treatment and controlled compaction to obtain a stable form, followed by additional reduction and cleaning steps to ensure consistent quality.

The entire process is designed to maximize the valorization of car fluff and deliver a final material ready for the EAF, instead carbon coke, and cementry industries.
